Dear Colleagues:
We did it - we have a tentative agreement!
The bargaining team is delighted to let you know that your amazing organization, advocacy and unity has resulted in a truly transformative and historic contract for faculty.
Among our wins:
- Over $2 Mil in additional movement from the college
- Starting salary for FT step 1: $75,000 ($13,500 increase)
- Adjunct Salaries 60% of FT
- Overload pay will be at 75% of base by year 3
- Summer pay will be at 70% of base by year 3
- No one will pay more for insurance premiums, most of us will pay less
- 3% COLA for years 2 and 3 (our first ever)
We will send out more details of the full contract tomorrow for you to review (although you can find a copy of all the TA’d agreements in the share folder.
We still need to ratify this agreement before Monday!
COME Sunday at 4 pm, we will hold a ratification “party” in Compass Park to go over the final contract, answer questions and launch the online ratification vote.
We could not have done this without everyone standing together - it’s truly been a team effort.
